First and foremost, I am motivated by the clear realisation of the potential for development and growth in human beings, so resilient by nature, who have the capacity to transform themselves at every instant, to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
With all this potential for development, I am interested in facilitating the process of self-knowledge, helping to explore the resources of the mind and to better understand the relationships between the emotions experienced, the thoughts that are produced and the behaviours that are acted upon, in order to contribute to the process of change and overcoming.
I fully believe that challenges and difficulties are best and most easily overcome when experienced in a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, and that is why I am here today, ready to support you on your journey of discovery.
My passion for psychology and clinical practice stems, in particular and paradoxically, from the lack of knowledge we still have about the vastness of the human mind and how much remains to be discovered and, above all, from the pleasure of being able to work directly with the person and the human relationship.
Always bearing in mind the transformative power that this same relationship brings to those who seek psychological support, I want to help you to renew, from the immense reservoir of your inner resources, what you need to be stronger, more self-confident and happier.
The clinic is located at Avenida Elias Garcia, 137 – 6th floor. At the end of Avenida Elias Garcia, you will find the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, where, before or after your session, you can also relax a bit on the terraces near the office or even enjoy some rest time in the Gulbenkian Gardens.
By Metro:
Get off at Campo Pequeno station (yellow line, exit Av. da República – Poente / Av. 5 de Outubro) and walk around the block towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137 (5 minutes on foot);
Alternatively, you can get off at Saldanha station (yellow and red lines, exit Av. da República – Poente / Av. João Crisóstomo – Poente) and walk towards Campo Pequeno along Avenida 5 de Outubro until you reach the intersection with Avenida Elias Garcia, where you should turn to reach nº 137 (8 minutes on foot);
If you prefer, you can get off at São Sebastião station (red and blue lines, exit Av. Duque de Ávila / Av. Marquês de Tomar), walk along Av. Duque de Ávila, turn left onto Av. Marquês de Tomar, and continue to the intersection with Avenida Elias Garcia to reach nº 137 (10 minutes on foot);
Upon exiting these stations, you should head towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137, at the corner of the intersection of Avenida Elias Garcia with Avenida Marquês de Tomar.
By Bus:
CARRIS buses numbers 727, 732, 736, 738, 744, 783 on Av. da República (5 minutes on foot);
CARRIS buses numbers 716, 726 on Av. Visconde Valmor (5 minutes on foot);
CARRIS bus number 756 on Av. de Berna (5 minutes on foot);
SUL DO TEJO buses numbers 160, 161, and 190 on Av. de Berna (5 minutes on foot);
After getting off any of these buses, you should head towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137, at the corner of the intersection of Avenida Elias Garcia with Avenida Marquês de Tomar.
By Car:
Paid parking is available on the surrounding streets. There is a large parking area behind the VIP Grand Lisboa Hotel and the Curry Cabral Hospital. There are also paid underground parking facilities at Campo Pequeno Square (Shopping Center Parking) and Avenida de Berna (Berna Parking). After exiting these parking areas, you should head towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137, at the corner of the intersection of Avenida Elias Garcia with Avenida Marquês de Tomar.
