Jorge Ferreira has been working in clinical practice for over 20 years, and his specialties include counseling for adults and children, couples therapy, and psychological assessments.
Widely known and respected in the world of psychology, both for the countless students he has trained as a university professor and for the general public, Jorge Ferreira is also an excellent trainer and researcher.
His life and professional experience make him a powerful ally in any psychotherapeutic process.
He works at the Learn2be Clinic in Lisbon and is, without a doubt, an excellent professional.
My Motivation
Dr. Jorge Ferreira
Faced with the various possibilities of building a professional career, my interest has always been psychology and the understanding of human behavior.
The complexity and subjectivity of the human psyche, expressed in an infinite palette of behaviors, has always sparked my curiosity.
This motivation has been expressed in different ways, whether through my work in psychological counseling and psychotherapy, aimed at the positive transformation of individuals, or through my work in teaching and research, focused on the training and specialization of new psychology professionals.
Helping people transform their abilities and reorganize the meaning and value of themselves is the motivation behind my psychotherapeutic work.
There is no greater temptation than collaborating in the (re)construction of a human being and seeing them progress along a safer, freer, and more fulfilling path.
Continuing to find new and better ways to understand human behavior is an irresistible passion.

"In August 2018, I felt the need to seek help for couples therapy. That’s when I found Learn2be and decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Jorge Ferreira.
Our issue was never between husband and wife, but rather on a family level. We have always had a strong connection, we've known each other for many years, and the love we feel for each other has always been present.

By subway:
Get off at the Campo Pequeno station (yellow line, exit Av. da República – Poente / Av. 5 de Outubro) and walk around the block towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137 (5 minutes on foot).
Alternatively, you can get off at the Saldanha station (yellow and red lines, exit Av. da República – Poente / Av. João Crisóstomo – Poente) and walk towards Campo Pequeno along Avenida 5 de Outubro until you reach the intersection with Avenida Elias Garcia, where you should turn and continue to nº 137 (8 minutes on foot).
If you prefer, you can get off at the São Sebastião station (red and blue lines, exit Av. Duque de Ávila / Av. Marquês de Tomar), follow Av. Duque de Ávila, turn left onto Av. Marquês de Tomar, and walk until you reach the intersection with Avenida Elias Garcia, then continue to nº 137 (10 minutes on foot).
When exiting these stations, head towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137, at the corner of the intersection of Av. Elias Garcia and Av. Marquês de Tomar.

After exiting these parking lots, head towards Avenida Elias Garcia, nº 137, at the corner of the intersection of Av. Elias Garcia and Av. Marquês de Tomar.
